Budapest Honvéd FC defeated Mezőkövesd-Zsóry FC 2–1 in the Hungarian Cup final, winning the trophy for the eighth time.

In an extraordinary Hungarian Cup final, Budapest Honvéd and Mezőkövesd-Zsóry clashed, as they had to play the semi-final match behind closed doors due to the safety regulations put in place by the Corona virus. Fortunately, the situation improved significantly for the final, so while limited, the teams were able to play in front of fans and 9,600 spectators were allowed to enter the Puskás Arena.

The organisers and the operators of the Puskás Arena also paid particular attention to informing the fans before the match. In the sectors, for example only one in every four seat could be occupied in order to maintain a safe distance.
