Metallica live with the highly successful M72 tour at Puskas Arena in 2026
Metallica returns to Budapest after 8 years!
The band have announced that they will continue their record-breaking M72 world tour, which will run for a fourth year in 2026, and will stop in Budapest with the No Repeat Weekend version, 2 nights, 2 different sets, 2 different opening acts - on June 11 with Pantera and Avatar, on June 13 with Gojira and Knocked Loose.
Since opening April 2023 in Amsterdam, M72 has seen Metallica play to some four million fans.
As always, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands foundation.
Ticket sales for the Budapest shows start with two-day tickets, first available for Legacy members from 9am on May 27, the Fifth Member can join from 11am the same day. Live Nation pre-sale starts at 10 am on May 29, and two-day tickets onsale begins at 10 am on May 30. Various VIP packages will be available from the first moment.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE METALLICA PLAYING?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH SHOW AT STOPS WHERE METALLICA PLAYS TWICE?
Metallica will play two completely different sets, with no songs repeated across the two shows. Each show will also have different opening acts, which vary by country.
IS THE BAND PLAYING IN THE ROUND? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Yes, the stage will be in the center of the field. Fans can see the band from any point in the stadium.
TICKETS
WHAT IS A TWO-DAY TICKET?
By purchasing a two-day ticket, you gain access to both shows at the venue you purchased for. Currently, only 2-Day Tickets are available.
CAN I CHOOSE TO STAND/SIT IN DIFFERENT AREAS FOR THE TWO SHOWS?
The assigned location associated with a two-day ticket will be the same for both shows, whether you purchase a seated or standing area ticket.
For example, if you have selected General Admission standing, you will be in General Admission standing for both shows. If you have selected seat 123 4-12, you will be in 123 4-12 for both shows.
IS THE SHOW SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
Tickets needed only above age 2, children under 16 can enter only with adult chaperon (above 18). Please note that the show is not recommended for patrons under the age of 12. Below the age of 6, patrons are not allowed on the floor; for safety reasons, we suggest seated sectors for them.
Explicit language may be used during the performance along with high levels of volume.

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY?
There is a limit of four (4) tickets per customer per city.* Ticket limits are in place to ensure all fans have the chance to purchase tickets.
*Excluding Enhanced Experience packages with Snake Pit tickets, where a ticket limit of two (2) per customer per package applies.

HOW CAN I BUY A SNAKE PIT TICKET?

HOW/WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?
Tickets are issued as PDFs sent via e-mail, right after the purchase.

DOES THE NAME ON THE TICKETS COUNT?
The name on the ticket won’t cause any problem at the entrance (excluding Enhanced Experience packages). You may bring your friend, co-worker, parent, cousin, sister's boyfriend, or whomever else to the show.
HOW CAN I GIVE MY TICKETS TO A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER?
You can give your tickets away, but resale is not permitted.
HOW CAN I RESELL MY TICKET?
If you can no longer attend both shows, contact Funcode at support@funcode.hu.
WHY CAN’T I SELL OR TRANSFER JUST ONE OF MY TWO-DAY TICKETS?
A two-day ticket is a single ticket that cannot be split. If you purchase a two-day ticket, you can only give it away for both shows. You cannot keep a ticket for one of the shows.
A limited number of single-day tickets for cities with two shows will be available beginning 25 July 2025.
WHEN WILL SINGLE-DAY TICKETS FOR CITIES WITH TWO SHOWS BE AVAILABLE?
A limited number of single-day tickets will be available beginning 25 July 2025. More information will be announced closer to the release of these tickets.
CAN I BUY AN ENHANCED EXPERIENCE PACKAGE FOR A SINGLE DAY?
Currently, only two-day packages are available. A limited number of single-day Enhanced Experience packages may become available at a later date. These will be subject to availability.
WHAT IS AN “I DISAPPEAR” TICKET AND HOW CAN I BUY ONE?
The “I Disappear” Ticket is your all-access passport to multiple Metallica shows across the M72 EU/UK 2026 tour. It includes a GA ticket with early entry to as many shows as you can attend - no need to buy individual tickets for each city. “I Disappear” tickets are available through wearesuper.co/metallica. This ticket does not include access to festivals or any other special events Metallica participates in.
WHAT ARE OFFICIAL PLX SEATS?
PLX tickets give fans access to some of the most popular tickets at a price set by the event organizer (e.g., the sports team, the artist team, the theatre producer).
IS THIS THE SAME AS SURGE PRICING?
No, it is not the same. No algorithmic surge pricing technology is used in PLX ticket pricing.
DO I GET ANYTHING ELSE WITH PLX TICKETS?
No, these tickets are not part of a package.
