Tour de Hongrie - Puskás Aréna was alos rided around by the cyclist on stage 5

Budapest was again involved by the Tour de Hongrie, the cyclists completed the 5th final stage on the closed circuit in Budapest. The beautiful buildings and sights of Budapest could have been seen live by television viewers all over the world, as 117 athletes raced along the 92-kilometer track nearby Heroes' Square and Városliget.

„I am very happy, thanks to God everything went well now, we had no luck on the previous races, we also made mistakes, but today we put everything on one and we succeeded. I knew my legs were fast, but that wasn’t always easy to show.” 

– said Edward Theuns, the winner of the stage. 

The best Hungarian of the stage was the national team member Ádám Karl in position 20th, while János Pelikán finished at 23rd as the best Hungarian athlete in the overall standings, so he kept the white jersey.
